Notice of Wythe County Schools

 Disposition of Student Education Records 

In compliance with the Library of Virginia, Archives and Records Management Services, Records Retention and Disposition Schedule No. 21 for Public School Records, Wythe County Public Schools will be purging and destroying student education records. The records to be destroyed exclude the final student transcript, which must be retained for 75 years. Affected students are those who graduated, completed Board of Education Programs, transferred, or withdrew from school more than 5 years ago.

should contact prior to July 1, 2012:
